Nigerians Massively Knock Senate Over Child Marriage Law

Na wa o! What is Nigeria turning to these days, are these events happening around us signs? Possibly of the END TIME cos I see no reason for such laws to be made to make innocent young girls insecure.
There is a massive protests at the Senate over the passage of a resolution to retain or keep the provision of Section 29 (4) (b) of the 1999 Constitution. Under that section, a married underage girl is deemed to be an adult.
Lots of prominent Nigerians ad human right organisations took to the social media to protest what they described as legalisation of sexual abuse ofunderage girls.
The protests were held in some parts of the country on Saturday such as Abuja and Lagos among others. Petitions were also signed to protest the law.
Well, the protesters might besiege all state House of Assembly and National Assembly on Tuesday to call on the Senate to reverse itself.
Those who protested queried why underage Nigerians are not allowed to exercise their franchise at the poll but where being subjected to marriage at tender age.

Lagos-based Motivational speakerand a pastor, Sam Adeyemi, twitted and says, If Islam permits something that the rest country and many parts of the world feel is detestable, then it is a serious issue. We can’t take away from a Muslim the right to practice his/her religion.
Nasir El-Rufai, former FCT Minister, also twitted, We really need your support, Please comment on #ChildNotBribe. Criminals, from time, use religion to cloak perversion.
